CHANGE by Design: Lecture

Join us to hear how Joe encourages up-and-coming designers to embrace the impact their work has and can have on the world around them. What is Design Thinking and how can you apply it to your process? Come find out!

Designers possess a certain set of skills that can be used beyond the task of developing an attractive brochure. Utilizing the same problem-solving methods we practice for developing effective communications, designers have the ability to think bigger, affect more, and bring positive change to the community in which they live.

Joe DiGioia, a professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design, will discuss Design Thinking, its ability to break us out of our creative ruts, and our ability to better our communities.
