Academic Tide is hosting an event this weekend funded by the VCCS Chancellor’s Innovation Fund Grant, so all of you can attend and eat for free. Start Academy is a 48-hour event during Feb 22-24 that allows students across the area to collaborate to build their own entrepreneurial ideas or join in public open data projects that will be facilitated during a single weekend. The goal of this event is to prepare you for Start Norfolk and give you the chance to win a free ticket for the event (which is normally $50).

You are welcome to bring any family and friends. Please make sure you register for yourself and anyone else you’ve invited on Eventbrite. All ideas and skills are welcome, so if you have a business idea, know how to code, design, market, or just solve problems in general this is for you!
